Out of an abundance of caution, and in line with state and federal recommendations, the Baruch S. Blumberg and Hepatitis B Foundation staff is currently teleworking until at least April 1, and monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily. PABC members are strongly encouraged to follow the same guidelines to keep our community safe.
- All non-essential employees are being asked to work from home. Baruch S. Blumberg lab projects will continue with the minimum required staff, on reduced and staggered hours to allow for safe social distancing.
- We are restricting visitors to our physical location and following all state and federal recommendations to keep our staff and community healthy.
- We are changing the format of the Hepatitis B Foundation’s 2020 Crystal Ball Gala. Instead of a face-to-face event, we will have our first ever “Virtual Pajama Gala!” Stay tuned for more details, as this event will be the most inclusive event we’ve ever hosted!
We recommend that you follow guidelines from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to keep you, your family and your community safe.
