Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) announces $5 million investment from Bucks County Employees’ Retirement Board
The nonprofit PABC, one of the nation’s most successful life sciences incubators, today announced a major pledge by a local government agency to invest in the Hatch Biofund. The Bucks County Employees’ Retirement Board will invest up to $5 million in the Hatch Biofund, which supports PABC-member companies. Please read more here.

$19M Expansion At Biotechnology Center In Buckingham Underway
Sept 18, 2020 - Construction began this week on a $19 million expansion of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center in Buckingham Township. The PABC, which is on Old Easton Road next to the Doylestown Airport, has received $4.4 million in state grants from Pennsylvania for the project. Read more.

April 24, 2020 -The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) community has numerous companies engaged in research and development associated with COVID-19. Hatch Biofund to Launch Impact Fund to Advance COVID-19
April 24, 2020 – Hatch Biofund Management LLC today announced that it was creating a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in advance of the first close of their Hatch Biofund I venture fund slated for this summer. The SPV will be formed by calling in some of the Hatch Biofund I $50 million funding early, in order to provide capital to promising companies located in the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) that are working on therapeutics or diagnostics for the COVID-19 Virus.
